The world’s second most valued crypto had also seen declines in exchange values for most of the past week. On Friday October 1, the altcoin had opened with another low – as it traded at around Rs. 2,36,255 (around $ 3,179). It should be noted, however, that Ether managed to recover its overall value which increased by almost $ 300 (around Rs 22,238) over the weekend. Ether also saw a weak opening on Monday. Recording a decline of 2.16% – the Ethereum blockchain-based cryptocurrency is currently trading at Rs. 2,59,219 (around $ 3,496), according to the Gadgets 360 cryptocurrency price tracker.
Only a handful of cryptocurrencies opened this new week with tiny gains. These include EOS, Shiba Inu, Neo, and Bitcoin SV.
Cardano, Tether, Ripple, and Polkadot, among other cryptocurrencies, also opened with minor drops in value.
Between China criminalizing crypto activity and regions like El Salvador, Miami, the American entrenchment for cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin – the crypto market remained volatile in September.
However, more and more countries are sparking discussions about the benefits of allowing these unregulated and decentralized crypto-assets to operate.
For example, the US Federal Reserve is considering creating a digital dollar, a report from FullyCrypto.com recently said.
Last week, as Tesla CEO Elon Musk said these indestructible cryptocurrencies are here to say it, venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya said Bitcoin has essentially replaced gold in modern times.
